Do the words you use matter?

Words are a very tricky thing. They can lift someone up and they can tear someone down.

We have all heard the old saying “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.”

Tell that to the person who has been called ugly or fat all their life and see how they feel about that.

The language we use can affect how people perceive us and our message, as well as influence their actions and decisions.

Words have power!

Power to inspire.

Power to comfort.

Power to motivate.

Power to persuade.

And, Power to hurt.

It’s extremely important to choose our words carefully and be mindful of their impact on others.

Speaking a kind word to someone could change their whole outlook.

Find someone today that appears to be down. Smile at them and say something nice.

Go make a difference in someones life today!
