How do you respond to injustice in the market place?

When you see people being taken advantage of what do you do?

Far to many times, greed and corruption become common place, and many just look the other way when they see it.

Price gouging in times of crisis.

Different pricing based on race or ethnicity.

One man can make a difference. In fact, one man did.

In ancient Israel, the Jewish Temple was a place of worship that was designed for those that followed God to come, pray, and worship.

Annually, pilgrims from around the region made their way to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover.

Seeing that money could be made off the backs of the followers, the religious leaders of the day turned the temple into a market place. They allowed the animals used for the “required sacrifices” to be sold at rates far above the norm.

One man, entered the temple and was so outraged by this blatant act of disrespect, He overturned the tables and drove the merchants from this sacred, holy place.

“And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.” Matthew 21:12-13

One man took a stand, would you?

Go make a difference today!
