Over the past few days, I have been focusing on the question, “If you are a believer, should you bring Jesus to work?”

I started by describing the intersection between faith and work. They we looked at the benefits of bringing your faith (in this case Jesus) to work. Yesterday I shared the challenges of doing this. Today, I want to provide you with some practical ways to do this if you choose to.

Lead by Example:

Demonstrate your faith through your actions rather than just words. Uphold your values, maintain integrity, and consistently exhibit the qualities associated with your beliefs, such as kindness, compassion, and honesty.

Practice Inclusivity:

Create an inclusive environment where colleagues of all backgrounds feel comfortable expressing their personal beliefs or values. Encourage diversity of thought and foster respectful dialogue.

Leverage Your Skills:

Identify how your unique skills and talents can be used to contribute positively to your workplace and community. Offer your expertise and time to initiatives that align with your principles.

Seek Mentorship:

Connect with mentors who share your faith and values and have successfully integrated them into their careers. They can provide guidance and support as you navigate the challenges and opportunities of bringing your faith to work.

Balance and Prioritize:

Strive for a healthy work-life balance that allows you to nurture your faith, maintain strong relationships with family and community, and excel in your professional endeavors.

Educate Yourself:

Continue learning about your faith and its teachings. Understanding its deeper principles and applying them to your daily work life.

Engage in Acts of Service:

Look for opportunities to serve others through your work. Acts of service can be a powerful way to live out your faith while making a positive impact on those around you.
